It has become like a tradition now, you know waiting every autumn for the latest H&M designer collaboration. This one took me by surprise, the last person I’d think would do a menswear line for H&M would be Jimmy Choo.

Cone Mills x Levi’s – Homer

In 1915 Cone Mills was a denim supplier to Levi Strauss & Co. It has been 94 years since then and Levi’s wants to let Cone Mills know that it still appreciates there business.

Most of you will instantly recognize that logo but for those who have no clue, that is the logo that has become the trademark of Japanese denim merchants Evisu. So why am I posting about Evisu ? Well the first reason probably has to be that they make some of the best quality jeans out there. A lot of people dislike Evisu however because of how it’s been over saturated and ‘played out’ but the fact is they have a vast knowledge of denim production. Now the better news, Kanji Kohanda is an Evisu artist. The only Evisu artist outside of Japan and he happens to live in London.

Fenom Levi Jawnts

So Levi’s have been a very hot brand to collaborate with recently, I don’t know for some reason people just suddenly realised that they make dope jeans. Well yeah one of the folks that have been collaborating with Levi’s most have been Fenom. I have mixed feelings about the collection because some of them are really nice and some of them are just way too much. I think they’ve got the balance right here, this pair is available in the 505 or 207 fit.

Little Things

Firstly I’m jealous of the Japanese. Really though, they have the best stuff. All the best fashion, all the best technology. They’re even killing the collaboration scene and stealing all the western fashion icons. The main one being Levi Strauss. Atmos has just done another collaboration with Levi’s and it’s damn hot.

A wrap up shun

So the year has come to an end, I’m just going to go ahead and write a post on the highs and lows of the year well mostly the highs. This is basically my list of what was the awesomest this year. For those who are unaware this is all my opinion so feel free to disagree.

Tahiti 80 x Levi’s – 505

I don’t know who Tahiti 80 are, I do know from reading some where they’re a French pop band. But who cares about that really, they were recently on tour in Asia and decided to hook up with Levi’s (my favourite denim brand) and make a pair of limited edition 505’s. The result I must say is pretty good, its got light blue stitching which is cool. Also has a strap to hold your keys which is also cool. They’re only available at the Japanese Levi’s store I believe so if you’re a serious denim fanatic follow the link, otherwise do like me and admire the beauty.
