Cone Mills x Levi’s – Homer

Photobucket
In 1915 Cone Mills was a denim supplier to Levi Strauss & Co. It has been 94 years since then and Levi’s wants to let Cone Mills know that it still appreciates there business. To celebrate a partnership that has lasted almost a century, Levi’s is taking it back by releasing these 1915 XX501s. They have been given the nickname Homer because that was the name of the owner of the pair that Levi’s have in their denim archives. The jeans themselves are quite special, an 11oz denim with a classic 1915s fit, complete with exposed rivets and suspender buttons. I quite like Levi’s vintage gear because they always take it back to a time where a lot mare care was taken in to producing jeans and as you can see the results were something else.
