Louis Vuitton decided to go back to their roots with their latest campaign. Instead of worrying about the fashion side of things, LV decide to concentrate on the practical use of luggage. The Journeys campaign tells us stories of epic journeys (uh yeh) reminding us that travel is all about the experience. Their latest installation to the campaign pays homage to the Apollo 11 crew that landed on the moon 40 years ago. I must say the advert is quite interesting, I enjoy how LV went about this one.

In related new Louis Vuitton has also done a book. Louis Vuitton Art,Fashion and Architecture features over 400 pages of inspiration for the Parisian brand throughout its history. Definitely something people interested in the history of the brand and for people interested in Art,Fashion & Architecture. The book will feature artwork from over 80 different artist, some familiar names include Sprouse and Vivienne Westwood. However I’m not sure if the price of $130 USD is justified I guess I’m just going to have to wait till September the 1st to find out. A limited edition deluxe version will also be available on LouisVuitton.Com and LV stores, the deluxe version features artwork by Takashi Murakami.
