People always find something to complain about when Nike updates an old silhouette. There’s something about changing something that is an established classic (for instance the Air Max 1), that annoys a lot of people. With this update however I believe Nike has hit the nail on the head. They manage to not lose any of the beauty of the original whilst adding the functionality of hyperfuse. The new shoe is a Summer hit in my opinion however they will hit retailers in the Autumn/Winter. Another up side about this new model is that Nike has made this and the Air Max 90 hyperfuse to it’s collection of shoes that you can customize on NikeID. Unique colorways are always an upside.

DC comics has delved in to the fashion world and decided to a collaboration with Parisian style kingdom Colette. Various designers will be taking part in the collaboration to represent a different super hero. The bags shown in this post are the first from the collection and are done by Pierre Hardy. Julien David has also done pieces representing the most famous comic book hero of all time. Karl Lagerfeld was assigned to do something about the Green Lantern and many more designers were involved representing other superheroes. The one that caught my attention most however was Balmain, not just because I’ve been obsessed with the Balmain fashion house recently but because they got the job of making Batman pieces and as Batman is my favourite superhero I was pleased to see the results. Now I just need to save up to buy the t-shirt which comes in at a cool £320.00. Check out the whole collab at Colette.

As far is menswear goes Dior Homme is king.

I j’adore Dior and even since Hedi Slimane left his influence still resonates through out the homme line. But that’s a funny title because it’s irrelevant to the post, which happens to be about Balmain and how it’s gone from the super luxurious label for the very very special to the super luxurious must have label according to everyone. However there’s a reason for that and it’s because Balmain designs are great. It’s tough work to take the luxurious, sophisticated styles and silhoutes Balmain utilizes and make them look utterly cool,relaxed and modern. The results are truly great, who would of thought you could wear a blazer and sweats together and not look like a complete bum. I applaud you Christophe Decarnin, your success is deserved. If you read this and enjoy the praise, I like that peacoat homes .

Apparently it’s all the rage to have a collaboration with Drake now a days >_>. This a cool track you know I’m feeling it, a rapper who’s the best to ever do it on a song with a rapper who I believe is the next big thing. I think they’re on to something.

It’s not just a good advert, it’s a great advert and I’m not even a die hard football fan. It’s like a short film which basically get’s you amped for the world cup by perfectly describing the passion and influence that goes in to football whilst still being very funny.He’s not on the screen for long but that is Roger Federer getting beaten by Wayne Rooney in the table tennis match, apparently he’s quite the admirer of the Manchester United forward and he talks about it in this interview >_>.
